Pokemon are subservient ANIMALS with no higher aspiration beyond "obey master" or "survive" if they're in the wild. They may be a little more clever than dogs, sure, but they're in no way shape or form EVER on equal footing with humans, RARE exceptions being legendaries like Mewtwo or my bro Calyrex.
