>>52677931Since species is determined by the mother during breeding, starters are made to be mostly-male so that you can’t easily mass-breed them with a male Zigzagoon or something and trade them out to all your friends so they’d have all 3 starters and invalidate 80% of the game’s fights due to type advantage.
