Do you adhere strictly to one iteration of Pokemon or do you take bits and pieces of what you like?I generally stick as rigidly to the animeverse canon and characterizations as I can but, of course, I extrapolate from them to achieve my stories, hoping not to stray too far into OOC territory. Usually, the "bits and pieces" I take are really obscure elements from throughout the series, some forgotten, which are fair game to utilize for characterization or references while being, at times, so obscure as almost pass for original ideas lol.
