I just love the thought of playing a pokemon character who's wearing practical boots, it just does something for me but I don't know why. It's not a fetish even though I make it sound like it is, it's more the feeling that those are the sort of boots I'd want to wear if I were going on a proper adventure, and it gives me that sense of adventure and 'realism', like Hilda and Xavier properly mean business, it's hard to explain.
Sure, the micro-shorts are a little less practical, but you can't have it all.
It honestly pains me that Hilda didn't look like pic related ;_;
