Sure, it could be worse. He could wield a katana, dress all black and cut himself every night. But compared to any mainline MC he's a fucking edgelord. It's almost as edgy as you can get while being a silent protagonist.
If he was fanmade he would be reposted in every cringe thread ever, but since he's official and from Gen III (old enough to be flawless in the eyes of underage /vp/) people will be in denial.
