This one looks fun "enough." I'm not autistic and I don't care about catching them all or porting over old mons. I'll just play through it then make an online team and battle friends for a while. Then I'll move on.
That's all I'm expecting, and if you expect more then prepare to be eternally disappointed. It's only going to get worse from here, and your purchase doesn't matter. The shit games are effectively subsidized by cards, toys and mobile games.
It's too late to take a stand against this shit series. It's been in serious decline since Gen VI.
