>>40531521>>40531759I think it started with the SJW craze of late 2008. People are lonely creatures and when Myspace and Facebook popped up, they started this "weird projection of I'm all that but I actually want people to notice me because I'm not mentality".
It's why cartoons and media went south around that time and jokes were getting less edgy. The mass media's attempt to control people succeeded by giving them self importance to an idea so they could be "triggered".
It's all so tiresome when you think about it.
