But remember: you made your dog *happy*. Imagine all the times he merely saw you and got more excited or pleased. You can probably tell us an endless amount of times that happened! Just playing with him, napping with him, scratching him - you name it, he enjoyed it. You and your family gave that dog a home, love, happiness, everything he could ever want. He lived happily. You did well.
