I saw some fanart a few weeks ago of Raihan with glasses alongside his Gym trainers (who all wear glasses), and after that I started to headcanon that Raihan was a nerdy kid when growing up who dressed all prim and proper and had glasses and knew everything about Pokemon and was kinda made fun of, but then as he grew older he became interested in fashion and changed his look completely. He tries to hide his past as much as possible because he doesn’t want it to ruin his current image (and doesn’t want people to make fun of him) He still has really shitty vision tho, but he wears contacts now
