It's nothing at all like using Drifblim or Smoochum. You need to hit level 9 before you run out of Water Guns, your attacks are inaccurate, many items are sticky, and pretty much you rely on the holy trinity of Pass/Warp/Detect to carry you. Without those, you're not just fighting an uphill battle, you're fighting a cliffside battle, and you have no arms to climb with.
