>>36611493I would agree that Let's Go is not appealing to "you", the player of numerous Pokemon games who had deduced the original games are still their favorites. Let's Go creative raison d'etre (ignoring the sad financial reality of the thing) seems to be selling RBY as an "idea" rather than a concrete "game". "That game you played all those years ago but with pretty graphics for you and/or your children." Treat it as anything more than that and it falls flat on its face as the super cool 3D Kanto remake.
I can't blame periphery merchandise for mining Pokemania, though. For Let's Go to exist there has to be something to it.
