Either way they'll all be within a few degree plus or minus of about 35 degrees celcius. If Vaporeon is a feline, canine or within cetacean or a combination its a very safe assumption Vaporeon has a body temperature a few degree higher then ours with some notable exceptions like River Dolphins which body temp is the same as ours.

He would not be able to see the red light as the brightest range of the LED is actually being shown in the picture. There is no way Vaporeon can see the thing to know it needs a charge. Regardless even if he did and could get away from his trainer what is he going to do?
