I really think you should take the time to practice creating distinct masculine and feminine facial features. The sharp chins and strong jawlines you create on many of your characters leads to some confusion in that regard. Women tend to have softer facial features, so this should reflect in your artwork. I'd suggest putting a laser-like focus on variation in your characters' head shapes and faces.
After that, you should work on varying body proportions, since people of different ages have different proportions.
