>>42714325Well, you could still introduce them(Iris and Ash) as proper rivals+companions at the same time in BW(with Iris's badges already collected when she meets Ash to save screentime but get her to battle him occasionally before the league and defeat him in the semi finals, with her losing in the finals). Of course them being rivals would change their interactions a lot but still keep it friendly. Also keep the "you're a kid" phrase since now she can back it up if she beats Ash in the Unova League. Voilæ. So she has time to become Unova Champion while Ash travels in Kalos or Alola. Then you could make her appear AGAIN in the PM2019 series as a proper Champion like in BW2. Find a flaw.
