>>23074715My very first playthrough of Red I chose it at random out of the three Eeveelutions. I still had my Thunderbolt TM and taught it to Jolteon immediately. It was fast and strong, but it didn't become my favourite team member until the E4 where it solo'd Lorelei's entire lineup without breaking a sweat, then held its own through the rest of the E4 as well.
Since then I've tried to at least have one on my in-game team in every game, even if it's not as strong competitively as it once was.
