>>16452113Too simple, make his gender ambiguous and put in some kind of subtle romance plot if it could be shoehorned in. Can always just swap gender pronouns based on the main character gender. Make Wally the opposite or something. Add a bit of flair, perhaps make Wally a bit more involved with the storyline if possible. Hero worship for the main character; expound on whatever disease he was supposed to have in the first place, and give him some motivation to do something with his life other than stand at the end of Victory Road.
