>>56432051That image assumes you'll have decent teammates and teamwork in non-solo raids, though. This is absolutely not the case with randoms; see video.
>>56431809Make sure to familiarize yourself with the exact rules if you haven't already. See
https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tera_Raid_Battle . Main things to watch out for are the Tera Shield (which fully blocks status moves, but not debuffs on damaging moves) and the player and boss stat resets.
For the mon builds themselves, four stars and below needs no strategy (I use a level 100 Cleffa because it really doesn't matter) and for five stars just have something that doesn't die easily, can buff its own Attack/Sp.Attack and debuff the enemy's Defense/Sp.Defense, then try to build up to deal as much damage as possible before the shield goes up. You might not instakill it but it should be sufficiently damaged that you can just wing it afterwards. Gholdengo is a particularly nice mon for this with Nasty Plot, Metal Sound, high power special moves and an ability rendering him immune to status moves (though not debuffs from damaging moves).
For six stars, the 'get a 16x+ multiplier on your attack' strategy tends to be harder to pull off. You can still try for it, but I usually prefer debuffing the enemy's offensive capabilities or playing a support role instead (using Reflect/Light Screen and healing). Most important thing is to not die (i.e. have good Defense/Sp.Defense/HP and avoid type disadvantages) as that really drags the team down. After anon's suggestion in the previous thread I've found Kommo-o with Breaking Swipe to be a good physical debuffer, currently experimenting with Flutter Mane with Mystical Fire as a special debuffer. I've used Arboliva (watch out for type disadvantages) and Hatterene as support. (Arboliva can also deal decent damage in a pinch.)
