FINALLY I CAN PROGRESS
For catch up: Roxanne was pretty easy, Combusken had Double Kick, Ralts had Magical Leaf, and Meditite had Force Palm. Also Munna setup with Yawn+Def. Curl. Nothing too bad.
Aqua Grunt in the cave was scary. Shellos was pretty difficult to deal with (Magical Leaf did little to nothing). It had Mud Bomb and Water Pulse with a crazy powerful Hidden Power. Then his Krabby was trying to one-shot everything. Very spooky.
May was easy. Pichu was obliterated and her Marshtomp was one-shot by Magical Leaf Ralts/Kirlia.
Now I'm in Dewford. But before I do anything, I'm going to fish for encounters in Petalburg and north of Rustboro. Then get my 4 encounters in Dewford (which has grass), fish on routes 106 & 107, then the one in Granite Cave. Time to hunt!
