See, you don't NEED to collect koroks at all, only if you really want to expand stash or are so autistic, you NEED to 100% every game (in which case, you missed the entire point of koroks being a giant middle finger to autistic niggers like that - "well done, you collected 900 golden poop pips, here's a giant golden turd to celebrate the use of your time".
And as mentioned, they're very visible from distance, likely because there's 108 of them, you need them all to fill the 'Dex and they also feed into "explore the game world". I don't care if you're too ADD to do that, I had no problem doing it in the 70 hours it took me to complete the game.
