>>43185111I can easily see many routes being "streamlined", specially any rock climb segment.
I also expect them to take out fog and all slowdowns and traps in the swamps and snowy routes for "convenience".
All caves will be neutered, specially Mt Coronet and Victory Road. And places like Regigiga's temple will probably be cut down too.
They'll probably keep the Undergrounds as a den hub but I wouldn't count and gen digging or secret bases to be a thing.
>>43185137Mt Coronet IS a labyrimth, people won't stop bitching about it.
Sinnoh is also infamous for having a fuckton of places that require HMs, which is what "exploration obstacles" are.
Difficulty IS consistent, with no spikes or drops other than Cynthia. It's low, but consistent. I'm sure that permanent exp share and raids would throw it out of whack though.
There's a story and lore that is slowly explroed upon and eventually neatly ties into the climax at Spear Pillar (I don't quite like the specifics, but it IS there).
You also have the underground with its couple of minigames and secret bases, the poketch, (watered down) contests, that park in Hearthome, the radar, poketch apps, berry growing, honey trees (even if they were kind of detestable), the casino, ball seals, the second worst Safari Zone, vs seeker, in-game events for mythicals... and I'm confident that I'm missing a few features.
As for the postgame, you had the search (as in actual search, not getting into rings randomly) of several legendaries, an entire island with three towns, 5-6 routes and a dungeon to explore, battle frontier and the pokéradar. That's more than you can say about any of the 3DS-Switch games, barring perhaps ORAS.
So pray tell, which of my points were delusional and why?
