I think he means types that are not based on your basic rpg/magic elements (fire, earth, wind) or based on creature/living organisms (bugs, plants birds).

While the other 3 are based on concepts that are strange for an rpg element system (fighting, psychic and ghost), Golem is pretty much just the "earth" element.

The buffs go unnoticed because Gamefreak sucks at balancing their game. Adding +10 to a base stat doesn't do shit when your outclassed by 3-4 other high attack high defense Rock/Ground types that do the same thing you do with better move pools and stats.

If Gamefreak and TPC weren't worried about making a new generation of rats and birds every year then maybe they would understand that with all the possible combinations of moves, stats, types and abilities they could make a niche for every current fully evolved Pokemon and have them be somewhat viable on a team if they put actual effort into character balance, instead of having to make new forms and stupid gimmicks that never balance shit.

ORAS takes place in the XY/sun and moon universe, the old designs for Rainbow Rocket just mean the successful Archie/Maxie where from a variation of the RSE universe, they could have both the RR ones and the ORAS ones in this game and it would be canon

I've used Probopass in Platinum, Y, AS, and Sun and currently using it in White 2. Very good for conveniently walling grunts consistently, especially Galactic. A shame it evolved so late in Sun though, not evolving at Blush Mountain instead was bullshit.
