I need an excuse for a new system either way, I have an original series DS with the grainy silver finish slowly chipped/faded at the edges, a crack over the R button, somewhat grimey and dirty, a scratch on the lower screen.
I hear the 3DS is pretty affordable these days, and I can't pick up on 3D due to astigmatism so the battery-life won't be gimped for me.
