You'd also really want talk with them about a romantic relationship with them, where it started up, make sure its actually healthy and not some weird by product of the relationship you had before hand. You gotta be really careful when dating Pokemon, doubly so for Pokemon that can 'feed' off your happiness, they may not be able to tell whats real or not real.
I do think Gardevoirs probably have some level of future sight when it comes to their future mates, but I imagine its kinda rare and not always guaranteed, its more like possibilities.
