I would feel fucking horrible. The state of Pokemon is from terrible management, not one guy. Anyone actually wishing death on this guy just fell for GameFreak's trick, you're no better than the consumer drones. Do you really believe Masuda just suddenly decided not being able to transfer Pokemon across gens was a good idea despite stating many times in the past it'd be a terrible idea?
