Gen 5 played poorly for me, and the mon designs were really hit or miss for me. Music was pretty bad. Krookodile is a total bro though.
Gen 7 played fine, but holy shit you could only fill a pokemon team with the pokemon I liked. I enjoy Silvally’s whole chimera situation though.
Gen 3 had my favorite music and sound design, as well as some of the best sprites and models (including colosseum). Dustox still looks like dogshit.
