AU Ash may not have a Greninja, and it doesn't seem like he's left Kanto since he continues to wear the same hat. His Charizard getting a fourth evolution will anime Ash sticks with Ash-Greninja seems fair.
By the way, what do you lads think of pic related? Assuming it's real, Ash losing to Ritchie in the Alola league would be something. What if Ash vs Ritchie is the final round of the Alola League? It sounds like Ash vs Ritchie will be a close battle, but it would be embarassing if Ritchie barely wins against SM Ash and his meme team. In fact, it would be embarassing if SM Ash nearly wins the Alola League with his lack of effort and team of NFEs aside from Lycanroc and (possibly) Incineroar. Shit, they could have Ash use 5 mons against Ritchie's full team of six.
