>>19532133Sinnoh Ash was the most complete as a trainer but like you said, he lost some of his character, probably because he became more of an older, mentor type not too unlike Brock. He was definitely more mature and grounded but was kind of boring as a result. Unova Ash went in the complete opposite direction and kind of overdid it in my opinion.
I'm enjoying XY Ash as well because he's exciting as a character again, without being borderline retarded. Still, it remains to be seen if he'll reach Sinnoh Ash levels of competency. He did knock out two legendaries in one match.
