Because GF gave them the assets. So it will make ILCA's job easier. in fact, the models are more in line with SWSH.

I won't, because they did listen to at least half of the criticism and revamped the artstyle to be more in line with LGPE after the fact.
But it doesn't change how they are literally using the SWSH artstyle for the Pokemon when those textures might as well be upscaled 3DS ones.
