I don't like to think Gardevoir would be subservient slaves to a human. Granted they will take notice your inner desires, but will understandably have their own self respecting standards for themselves. For a true romance to happen both parties must have goals and differences.
Sure, she can be your pokemon at first, but in order for her to be your wife you have to respect her. Grant her free will and allow her to disagree with you. Love her enough that you want her to be as independent as possible. The biggest problem I have with gardefags is how they view gardevoir as dick sleeves rather than another person.
I still like the art, besides the aforementioned master thing.
