>>56705151The overall change in character design was atrocious. Most gym leaders looked like absolute dogshit, bland and uninspired, only Iono actually looked like a Pokemon character. Even Nemona was only saved by her bright personality, and certainly not her design.
Thankfully Game Freak learned from the negative response and fixed it in the DLC by bringing back the guy who designed the characters in SM, SwSh, and PLA.
