I feel like, recently, people are doing their absolute best to make Primarina and Primarina's fanbase look as bad as possible (granted, it's true for all of the starters, not just the Sea Lion) and there has been way more negativity about it in general then there was in the past. I also feel like it's unfair to just blame others, though, and that I may have overlooked the bad side of the fanbase by just dismissing it as falseflagging, while getting too defensive about the opposite and making myself look like a bit of a fool.
At the end of the day I love Primarina's design, in fact I adore everything about it, but I also may have been taking way more baits than I want to admit because of that and I may have also offended/ashamed people in the fanbase itself while doing so.
