>>42415564I don't think sales contributes to likes because people can always change their mind after purchasing the game and simply return or sell it used when they're bored. A lot of my friends have done that. Not to mention for some reason they haven't released a Demo when both ORAS and Sun and Moon both had some. It's like GF weren't sure this would sell so they only made the demo accessed during specific events such as E3 or Pokémon Centers, it's a clever tactic, scummy but clever.
