>>43793142>>43793228I've actually gotten through 3 gyms. I was going to update 3 days ago, after beating Sabrina, but my brother had gotten us banned for jannie abuse. Which is weird, because jannies certainly deserve abuse, but whatever. I wrote down the updates for all three of them.
Let's Start:
I took down the Rockets at Silph Co. I took down Gary once again. I took down Giovanni at Silph Co. I took down the Fighting "Gym", and I took down Sabrina. And it all went very smoothly. The only "close-call" moments I had during all of that was against a Self-Destruct in Silph Co. and the Dojo Master's Hitmonlee. I truly think I'm at the point where I probably won't lose any more Pokémon, but I don't want to Jynx myself.
Anyway, here's how the Sabrina fight went:
>It starts with Amco the Gyarados vs Sabrina's Kadabra. One Critical Bodyslam was all it took.>Then we have Eiyeah the Raticate vs Sabrina's Mr. Mime. Eiyeah misses his first Hyper Fang. Mr Mime uses Light Screen. Eiyeah hits Mr. Mime with a Hyper Fang, leaving him with a little less than half his HP. Mr. Mime uses Barrier. One more Hyper Fang finished Mr. Mime off.>Next is Ski the Charizard vs Sabrina's Venomoth. Ski leads with Ember, which does about 35% worth of damage to Venomotn's HP. Venomoth hits with a Psybeam, which only did about 25%. A lot less than I expected. Ski uses ember again. Venomoth Poisons Ski with Poison Powder. One more Ember finishes Venomoth. On a side note, it sucks so hard that this is the only Fire-Type move Charizard can have for the majority of the game. Fucking stupid.>Finally, we bring Amco back out to take on Sabrina's Alakazam. Alakazam starts by using Recover...at full health. One Body Slam takes away about 65% of his HP. Alakazam uses Psywave, which does 50 damage. One more Body Slam and the Marsh Badge is mine.Pretty smooth fight. Not much else to say.
