Hmm. Still, the half-water tiles having the rough edge just doesn't compute in my head.
Maybe you get away with having all the edge tiles be plain sand, but with pockets of half-water tiles along the shore. It could give the impression of sandy tidepools, or that the sand is inundated with groundwater/seawater. It could also look weird idk.
