My last BB2 run, Colress ended me. This time, I wanted things to be different.
Things started fine. Mier went out against Magnemite, and after popping its balloon with a Water Gun, a simple Mud Shot took it out.
Next up was Rotom, the bane of my existence. Prompto used Strength, and got a critical. It was a one hit kill.
Then came Metang. Persephone whittled it down with X-Scissor, barely surviving.
Then was Klink. Nothing interesting happened here, other than it managed to paralyze Gladius.
Finally, it was time for Porygon2. Last run, Porygon had swept the little bit of team that I had left after the rest of Colress' motley crew. I knew that it was a special attacker, so I sent out Luces to use Struggle Bug and cripple it. However, an unexpected Charge Beam Critical'd and 1-shot Luces. Instead of being crippled, Porygon2 was now buffed.
The plan was to unparalyze Gladius once Porygon2 was disarmed. Now, I had to make a sacrifice. Seraph was sent out, and Gladius was healed. One more charge beam later, and my team was down 2 men.
Gladius came out, limber as could be. Porygon was Low Swept and Vacuum Waved into oblivion, thanks to a slight speed advantage.
But still, fucking Colress.
