I don't really mind it being more linear. One visit to most towns should be enough. The big cities probably should get more exploration, but it seems like we will be doubling back to them multiple times (except London, but that'll just be the end of the game anyways).

Big Ben is located on the House of Parliament. It's basically the seat of the government. If the villains wanna fuck up London, that's where they'll likely go to end things.
The only other place it would likely end would be a Buckingham Palace equivalent with them threatening the Queen of Galar or some shit.
