BDSP is much smoother, faster, has all the modern QoL features, the Battle Tower has better AI than the Platinum Frontier, the Gym Leader and League rematches are better, Contests are actually fun to give a try, etc.

I don't understand how people can say Platinum is better than BDSP, unless they have their nostalgia goggles on.

Pal Park accidentally mentioned in BDSP?

BDSP Battle Tower question

According to Serebii, you cannot encounter all the special NPCs in both Singles and Doubles in the Battle Tower. Instead, in Singles you can only encounter the 8 Gym Leaders, Cynthia and Palmer. All the other NPCs are exclusive to Double Battles (the Elite 4, the Stat Trainers and the Team Galactic members).

Can someone PLEASE confirm if this is true, or is it fake news? Because I personally prefer Single Battles, and I was hoping to encounter all of the Special NPCs there.

I am on the fence about BDSP. I think it does a lot of things right, but there are some decisions that I just don't understand, like not using more Platinum content (I don't mean the Battle Frontier, I mean stuff like Platinum Move Tutors, the Villa, and even a no-brainer like that Pokétch having 2 buttons instead of just 1 for switching through the apps).

So I have some questions that I hope you guys can answer:

1. How is the Battle Tower like, in this game? Is it true that it doesn't include Multi Battles? Are there some nice additions to it, that weren't in the original?

2. Is it confirmed that Amity Square is restricted to some Pokemon only? Do we know how many of them are allowed?

3. Is it confirmed that the game has no Move Tutors like the ones in Platinum?

4. Is there some other postgame content, even if minor, that we don't know about yet?
