>>56445435Rakua is an anime original concept (so far) but it doesn't feel out of place to me. We don't know much about Rakua other than it's a place outside Paldea and it's full of Rakurium, a mineral that emits some kind of energy opposite of Terastal and inflicts some kind of status effect on Pokemon. I think HZ is trying to expand on concepts and answer some questions presented in SV and maybe tie in with Legends AZ in later seasons. The og anime was more weird, less consistent and took way more liberties when adapting stuff from the games, especially in the early seasons and in the movies, which is not a bad thing but I don't understand why suddenly is a problem.
