One is involving a coal miner's strike spearheaded by the grandfather of the main character in my pizza-related opus.
I can easily work on "building up" a continuity in English, writing side stories dealing with the characters.
The Latin thing isn't really a gimmick; it really is a technical achievement, since it hasn't been done before. I have many reasons to write in that language.
Notwithstanding that my main characters' designs are based off Roman tutelary deities (Lares and Genii). It just made sense, that the name Lati@s comes from Latius, meaning "of Latium".
Latium was a city from ancient Etruscan civilization.

Also, you know the word "Romance"? It ultimately came from the name of Rome. My story will have that, but... there will be a great surprise to most who read. I sincerely doubt that anybody has reconciled those two philosophies of story-writing, explicit and pure?
My antagonists have never been used before, either.
They'll hit so close to home. The greatest evil imaginable...
There's a reason that I said that I had a moral obligation to write this story as well as I could.
Perhaps I'll write each chapter in Latin first, and then translate it into English?
It's only a gimmick if I'm trying to attract unwarranted attention, not to the content of the story, but the context of the story.
Don't worry; I'm very confident in my English skills.
