I don't even care about the balance or about which pokemon are OP or whatever. but I just can't enjoy this when most of my matches are decided based on who has worse teammates. I'm just really not a fan of this 1 great player, 2 average player, 2 bad player forced matchmaking.
After Mewtwo Y event is over I'm taking a long break or quitting for good. This game would be so much more fun if everyone in your match had similar levels of skill.
If you think other players on your team are equal skill or better than you then you're probably one of the designated dead weight players.
