1.) It's manmade (this is not a deal breaker for most, as honedge is well received, but klefki did get a lot of shit)
2.) It's got a fucking goofy looking face
3.) A pokemon shaped to look like ice cream, an edible treat, should have some kind of back story to explain it's shape. (i.e. it lures in people with promises of a tasty treat before devouring them.) It doesn't.
4.) it doesn't make any sense, why is there a face on the scoop and not the cone, why is a pokemon in the wild so tied to a manmade object? At least klefki is explained thoroughly and it makes sense (fairy that holds keys found in the lost hotel). It is just so out of place.
5.) It's aesthetic doesn't match the feel of pokemon, and that's why it is so often singled out as a bad pokemon.
