/vp/ you've done it again. Every fucking time someone mentions Stars on here it's either "REEE" or "stop this meme" or whatever. Lots of people, including myself, hypothesized that either a port of SM or a third/sequel version would make it's way to the Switch shortly after launch. A port of SM and a third/sequel version is leaked for the Switch, in other words, we get a console quality main series Pokémon game for the first time, and it won't lose any of the "social" aspect the Japs think is so integral to the game.
Nintendo collapsed their handheld and console divisions together months ago. TPC announced that they will be releasing games on the hybrid moving forward. The project title made it onto the list of Laura Kate Dale, the same insider that gave us all the info on the Switch that wound up being true. Various media outlets are reporting on it. I don't trust the media, but these are things like financial outlets and the fact that Nintendo and TPC haven't stopped them gives speaks volumes. In addition, within SM itself, we have what is obviously one half of a story with several questions left unanswered and teasings about the upcoming game. Gladion basically tells you their father is stuck in Ultra Space, the Space man in the desert tells you he left all his Star Pulses in the hands of some "wonderful men", Lillie going to Kanto to get Bill to suck the nuerotoxin out of Lusamine (giggity). So, at the very least, we KNOW that a main series Pokémon game is coming to the Switch, that it is slated for about this time next year, and the project is named Pokémon Stars. We can infer that this will not be a straight port, but an enhanced 3rd version a la Platinum or sequel version a la B2W2. "Hurr just like Z version right? OP is retarted." Gamefreak, famously, has been trying to defy expectations for the last couple gens. They have said this in interviews. Point is, the aren't the starter evos. Stop being a denialfag.
