>>29456535I'm an artist too anon, and I'm not talking about the art style. The art style is a "sacrifice" so that the animators can actually animate more motion and make everything more fluid instead of trying to stay 100% on model like the Pokemon anime tries to do. XY was a huge step up in quality because they introduced 3D backgrounds and they are taking it to another level again. I can't say anything about the goofy style they seem to be portraying in the trailers but here's hoping that they don't totally get rid of everything that made XYZ good.
