But the main issue with transparent electronics is blocking the UV radiation (despite what the ads tell you, sunblock actually absorbs UV radiation) and preventing the formation of free radicals (which can still harm electronic components).
Another way to block it is by placing a slice of lead between the plastic casing and the components of the game card, but that's a big no-no when your main audience is children and would also defeat the purpose of making the game card transparent.
