>>48725684So, the next section of the game has Jupiter's Skuntank (and Sableye, which of course she has); Aaron, already one of the toughest fights in the regular Ren Plat; and Fantina, also one of the toughest fights in Ren Plat, now even harder by the fact that they're both types I do horribly against. But, I do get access to super effective weakening berries and still have some neat tricks, so not all bad.
>JupiterHad a fun strat for this one. Led with Starmie, and used I shit you not Camouflage, never even THOUGHT about this move before. This turns me into a Normal type, and her lead Golbat can't do much to me. Then, I set up 6 Hardens, and take the Golbat out. Now, her Sableye and Skuntank are physical attackers - but her Tangela is a special attacker, so she sends this out instead. And Tangela is a great mon to set up on for Gardevoir, who easily sets up 6 Calm Minds behind a sub and sweeps her team.

>LucasFucking hell...led Starmie versus lead Piloswine, set up 6 Hardens as it couldn't touch me and killed. Then Granbull came out. This thing was generally a pain for my entire lineup, so I tried to chip it with Starmie so I could pivot to Metang, and...it critted and killed in one hit with Thunder Fang. Espeon cleaned up, but that's a ridiculously heavy loss, nothing should have died in this battle of all things. I personally love Starmie itself, too. RIP.
>AaronThis time it was Medicham's turn to use the sexy lipstick and Captivate Aaron's Dustox down to -6 SpA. Once this was done, quickly swapped to Bronzor to put it to sleep and ensure it wouldn't Toxic into Gallade, then Gallade set up a Sub and 6 Bulk Ups. Killed Dustox, hit Beautifly to its Sash as it breaks Sub, but set up Sub again as he healed it like a moron so I could kill it next turn, and nothing else on his team posed an issue. Went with Gallade here since he did have a Bullet Punch Scizor, didn't want things to go wrong.
