Finally picked up my Pearl run again now that I've graduated and finally have time to focus on games again. Byron went down easy peasy, what a strange gym though since it had trainers using water and bug types at various times. Just arrived at Iron Island after doing the Galactic shenanigans (I spent like 90 minutes fucking around in the underground - no Heat Rock for Phoebos yet but lots of other cool stuff at least), and I'm secretly hopeful that this is going to be the team I'm taking all the way to the league. I just invested in putting some TM's to good use for the gang - Poseidon got Flash Cannon, Talos got Fire Blast, and Anaxagoras got Shockwave.
Everyone on the team is doing their jobs really well - I was very worried about Episkyros and Phoebos but both are bulky enough to afford a turn of Toxic/Leech Seed and are capable of balking or bailing; Episkyros in particular has gotten Ominous Wind boosts in TWO gym battles now which is just awesome. I'm probably going to dump my PP Ups into that move if fate is on my side.
