Then Greninja proceeds to beat the shit out of it with a Water Shuriken Sword, Cut, and Aerial Ace.
The fact that it survived all of that is incredibly bullshit when it took less hits in its previous battle against Ash-Greninja and almost lost, and that Ash-Greninja was incomplete.
Don't even get me started on the super powered up Orange Water Shuriken that clearly hit it but was shown to not have given it a scratch when a Mega Sceptile, who is 4x resistant to Water, gets hit by an even weaker version of that Water Shuriken and still lost.
Alain didn't even have want to join the Pokemon League. Ash encouraged him so Alain could fight strong trainers but Alain joined only to fight Ash again in a no hold's bar battle. All that bullshit he was spouting about protecting Manon was, again, bullshit because Manon didn't even care! She was cheering on him even before he got his first badge. He didn't care about the League or anything about it, he just cared about "protecting" Manon and having a battle with Ash.
Ash had 10x more reasons to win the League this time and then some.
And then here's the craziest thing: I don't even like the anime! I was just here to watch the anime general finally shut up and I'm even mad at the result. What the fuck. Put the fucking character to rest already, holy shit.
