Basil died to an Ace Couple's Graveler's Rock Blast on the way to Celestic. I couldn't use Floatzel because I had to bring Pepper the HM slave for Defog, Broadway was burnt earlier by the Ace Couple's Infernape, and there was a water-type I don't remember preventing Augustine from participating.
By the time the Graveler was released everyone was in the yellow. I really thought I could pull through by sacrificing Pepper, but I didn't...
Currently, I plan to head to the Fuego Ironworks to see if I can find another Fire-type pokémon to replace Basil, as I was planning to use him in Canalave along with Augustine.
