The Mega Gardevoir had a major crush on a really ugly, smelly, foul-mouthed fat knight who lived in a cottage in the woods and she'd go stalk him from the bushes and swoon looking at him, to the annoyance of the Kirlia who would much rather do witch stuff rather than just sit on her ass while her teacher stalks a douchebag.
One day the knight had buddies over for some kind of party. They left and he waved them off. Then when they were a sufficient distance away the Mega Gardevoir jumped out of the bushes to announce she had a massive crush on the guy, who promptly screamed that she was an abomination. He grabbed his sword and severed the Gardevoir's right arm then stabbed her in the chest before casually leaving to pick up some groceries, leaving her to die just there.
The Kirlia had watched the whole thing. When it was safe to come out she stabilized the Mega Gardevoir's conditions with potions, then sewed the arm back and reconnected it through healing potions as well. The Mega Gardevoir ended up making a full recovery thanks to the young Kirlia's skills.
