>>35049305>Idk, maybe I'm just too old. I promised not to grow old, in mind, but heck, I can't seem to enjoy ...I just turned 30. and I'm going back and replaying Crystal. It still holds up. A solid, easy but not handholdy, RPG. The problem isn't us, it's these new games.
They are simultaneously bloated with junk no one gives a shit about (cutscenes and photo mini games), and yet remain completely barren, devoid of replay value or engaging (RPG) gameplay. It's so odd to think about how the jump to 3D should have heralded a golden era for Pokémon. Finally, we get monsters in glorious 3D, fully animated to ahow off all their personality. but this is a company that won't even animate a simple dying animation for fucking luvdisc. Instead, every new game further alienates old fans at the cost of, what, retard toddlers that can't beat a children's RPG without 300 billion free heals in a game with no dungeons? Like, really? Because I couldn't do that back I the 90's?
Gamefreak is out of touch. and I'm losing touch with Pokémon as a result.
